Participate in the Mega sales of 2-wheelers in a Digital fair
Two-wheelers
are the future and an investment in this can prove to be an asset in today’s
time. With the impact of COVID-19, shared mobility is likely to take a
short-term hit and demand for entry-level two-wheelers are going to increase.
AOB Events is commencing the largest digital
fair exhibiting brand new 2-wheelers. The digital fair is going to be open
for all for 3 days and is expected to experience a footfall of 1 million
visitors.
We are
almost half way into 2020 and COVID-19 has framed a new living for us. It is
likely to expect people to continue observing social distancing norms even
after the crisis is over, and that to bring a change to the way they commute. While
daily commuters may prefer avoiding public transport, the possibility of job or
salary cuts would weigh on their capacity to buy a personal vehicle. In this
situation, the experts at AOB Events expect that a mass-market of motorcycle or
scooter could become the preferred mode of transportation for many, while
reducing the pressure on their wallets.
Experts also
feel that with a wage cut imminent in the given prevailing circumstances as
well as financial institutions tightening their belt when it comes to loan
disbursements, the relative lower cost of a two-wheeler will work out much
better vis-à-vis a car.
Automobile
giants are struggling to get the sales done for their newly manufactured lines.
With a decrease of 72.31 percent, Mahindra has seen the biggest drop in sales.
In FY2020, Mahindra managed to sell just 1,038 units. The only manufacturer on
this list to have not dipped in the red in FY2020 is Suzuki. The Japanese brand
managed to increase its year-on-year sales by 2.46 percent, a total of 6,85,223
units. The largest contributor for the brand is the Suzuki Access 125, that
leads the 125cc scooter sales chart.
Car
buying is not an instinctive purchase in India and people would have taken such
decision 3-4 years after reaching certain affordability levels. Some portion of
the prospective buyers who had decided to purchase new cars may opt for a new
2-wheeler due to cost pressure. This is a unique opportunity for distributors
dealing with the sales of 2-wheelers.
While
urban markets will be under pressure, there is some respite from rural markets.
Since two-wheelers, bikes in particular, derive a major chunk of sales from
rural markets, good rabi crops and consequent improvement in earnings will
result in recovery in demand for bikes. The easy to use app, is available on
Google Play store and can be easily downloaded and used by the visitors. The
app is simple, easy and free. The idea is to attract targeted customers from
around the globe and make the experience unique and fruitful to both the
exhibitors and the visitors.
Digital
is going to have a big impact on automobile business now and will also continue
to post COVID. Do not miss this opportunity!
